Newnan-EC new time

Game time changed for Friday's EC-Newnan baseball

Mother nature has been reasonably kind to most athletic events in Coweta County since the first of the year.

However, with the possibility of rain visiting the area Friday evening, the Region 3-AAAAAA baseball game between the East Coweta Indians and Newnan Cougars in Sharpsburg will be played at an earlier time.

Instead of the originally scheduled time of 6:00, the first pitch is scheduled for 4:00.

The game is the second of a home-and-home region series with the Indians having won 13-6 Tuesday night at Joe Pope Field by a score of 13-6.
