SHARPSBURG-The junior varsity version of the East Coweta Lady Indians are at it again as they faced the Whitewater Lady Wildcats Monday afternoon.

Kourtney White had a three-run home run and five RBIs while Emma Elrod had three hits with two runs scored Monday to lead the Lady Indians to a 7-3 win and gain a measure of revenge over the Lady Wildcats to extend the team's unbeaten string to 43 games.
The Lady Indians, who tied the Lady Wildcats two weeks ago, improved their record to 10-0-1 on the season as they get ready to face the arch-rival Newnan Lady Indians Tuesday afternoon.

Kourtney White had a three-run homer and five RBIs in the win.
The Elrod/White combo was responsible for the first run of the game as Elrod reached on a one out single in the bottom of the first inning, stole second and moved to third on a wild pitch before coming home on a sacrifice fly to right.
However, the Lady Wildcats threatened to snap the streak in the top of the second inning as Madison Hasty scored on the front end of a double steal and Leah Johnson had an RBI double.
The Lady Indians had a chance to regain the bottom of the frame but were unable to take advantage of a bases loaded situation but were able to come back in the third with a pair of tallys.

Shallyn Olszowy allowed five hits in seven innings.
White and Kip Heggood reached on consecutive walks and with one out, White was able to score on a wild pitch while Heggood came home on a sacrifice fly to left field by Hannah Stubbs.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, EC added to the lead as Ansley Teteak led off with a walk and Elrod followed with a one out single before White came to the plate and hit the pitch over the left field fence that gave the Lady Indians a 6-2 lead.
The Lady Wildcats cut into the lead in the top of the sixth inning as Braeden Hale reached on a one out double and scored on a two out single by Hunter Pickett.
The final run of the contest as Bailee Echols singled, stole second and advanced to third when Elrod hit a flyball to right before coming home on a ground out to second by White.
Benefiting from the support was Shallyn Olszowy who tossed a complete game allowing five hits with one earned run and recorded three strikeouts.
Meanwhile, the varsity will be looking to extend their winning streak to 30 when they face the Cougars in a contest that will deter the Region 2-AAAAAAA regular season title and the tournament top seed.
The game will be broadcast on streamcity.org beginning at 6:00.
