Bunn, Walker lead East Coweta to come from behind win over Starrs Mill in freshman game

SHARPSBURG-Ethan Walker went 2-for-4 with two runs scored while Austin Bunn had two hits and pitched four solid innings of relief as the East Coweta Indians came from behind to defeat the Starrs' Mill Panthers 7-4 in a freshman baseball game played Tuesday night.
The Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning but the Indians tied the contest at 1-1 with one out in the bottom of the fourth inning as Bunn was hit by a pitch and would score on a single by Jacob Howell.
The Panthers reclaimed the lead in the top of the fifth inning with a pair of runs but that 3-1 lead was brief as the Indians came back in the bottom of the frame.
With two outs Walker doubled and Bryan Crow followed a single forcing a pitching by the Panthers.
Walker came home on a wild pitch to cut the deficit to 3-2 and Natsuki Harvey came off the bench and reached on a walk ahead of Bunn who followed with a single that scored Crow that tied the game at 3-3.
Levi Walker was hit by a pitch and Howell gave the Indians a 4-3 lead with a bases loaded walk.
The Indians added to the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning as Myles Dowell reached on a double and advanced to third as Caleb Cashion followed with a single.
Walks to Walker and Crow allowed Dowell to score and after a strikeout two more runs came home after an infield error.
In the top of the seventh inning, the Panthers tried to rally as the Carson Walter led off with a walk and eventually scored on a wild pitch.
However, a line drive to Bunn who threw to second for a double play would end the threat and the game.
In four innings on the mound Bunn allowed two hits and walked a batter while recording three strikeouts in getting the win.
